Marc Humphrey
Marc A. Humphrey was born in Winterset, Iowa on October 23, 1953. He attended and graduated from Pella Community High School in 1972. He then went to Central College in Pella, Iowa where he graduated in 1976. At Central College, he received a BA in Business with honors and had the honor of being a member of the 1974 NCAA Division III National
Championship Football Team.
Following his graduation from Central College, Marc attended the Drake Law School in Des Moines, Iowa graduating in 1979 with honors. He was a member of the Order of the Coif and was named Editor and Chief of the Drake Law Review.
He is a member of the Iowa Association for Justice where he served on the board of governors from 1985 through 1988 and president of that organization from 1989 through 1990. He is also a member of the Iowa Academy of Trial Lawyers and the American Association for Justice. He is a member of the Professional Negligence Litigation group. He is also a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association as well as the Iowa Bar Association.
Since 1980, he has been actively involved as a trial lawyer protecting the interest of individual consumers. He has handled a wide variety of injury cases including injuries caused from automobile crashes; work related injuries; injuries cause by a defective product; injuries caused by defective medical devices; injuries caused by defective medical compounds; and injuries caused by substandard medical care on the part of either a hospital staff or a physician/surgeon.
