My Promise to You

I can still remember the days on the playground while I was attending elementary school in Winterset, Iowa. I can’t explain to you why but I was always the kid on the playground that was standing up for the kid who was getting bullied by someone bigger and stronger. My mom was a school teacher within the elementary system in Winterset and I lost count of the number of times that she sent me to the principal’s office for standing up for the underdog. I suppose it was only natural that I developed a passion for the law and specifically, continue to carry out my passion for standing up for the underdog.

Since 1980, I have represented individuals or people, not corporations. I have represented people that have been injured at the hands of others, oftentimes at the hands of corporate manufacturers, manufacturers of medical devices, physicians, hospitals, large trucking companies, and other similar defendants. My passion for standing up for the underdog has continued for the past thirty (30) years in my active trial practice.

No lawyer can ever promise you the outcome that you seek within our system of justice.
